(Yuba City, CA)– Succeed.Net, Yuba City’s largest Internet service provider has acquired the subscriber base and assets of Coastal Web Online (CWO) of Sacramento, CA. and plans to merge all operations to create a new operation more than twice it’s current size and release new ADSL2+ and Metro Ethernet products in Sacramento and Yuba City areas in the near future. This is Succeed.Net’s 5th acquisition and makes Succeed.Net one of the largest privately owned ISP’s in Northern California with over 5000 users.
Coastal Web Online was the first private ISP in Sacramento, CA in 1994 and is currently located at 1112 I Street in downtown Sacramento in a custom built private data center. CWO is a full service ISP that has been focusing on the Sacramento business market, CWO offers Dial-up, DSL, T1, T3, OC3, web hosting, fixed high speed business wireless, and server co-location. Joining the Succeed.Net family will benefit it’s customers by providing access to new internet technologies, while still providing that small company friendly feel.
“Merging the operations of these two ISP’s will greatly strengthen them both and allow us to build a new operations center with state of the art servers and network equipment, expand our wireless network down into Sacramento areas, and allow us to offer new services such as high quality VOIP, remote internet computer backups, ADSL2 up to 40mbit, Metro Ethernet symmetric services up to 30mbit, and more” said Robert Lavelock, Owner of Succeed.Net.
“We plan to immediately begin to audit, organize, and upgrade CWO operations. ADSL2+ and Metro Ethernet will be available within 1 month in downtown Sacramento. During that time CWO products and services will be upgraded and new features added at no extra cost to the end user.” said Mr. Lavelock.
“Not to be left out, existing Succeed.net customers will also see upgrades such as a new billing system, upgraded backhaul bandwidth, and eventually new email and web hosting servers and extended support hours”, said Mr. Lavelock.
Succeed.Net provides state-wide dial-up, DSL, T1’s, as well as a large Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa county footprint Wifi and fixed wireless network. Succeed.Net also provides computer service, repair and IT management for local businesses.

I haven’t had to need your tech support in a very long time but as always your tech, sorry I don’t remember his name, was excellent. Immediately figured out my problem, walked me through reconfiguring my settings without making me feel clueless (which I was) and banished all the frustrations I had over the last 48 hours in setting up my new Mac. A far better experience than I had with Apple tech support – online and at the store!
